About Me:
I’m a happily married father of two wonderful kids. My wife and I moved from the Boston area 10 years ago and now make our home outside of Atlanta.
I am a graduate of Providence College and the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law.
In my professional life, I serve as general counsel and director of government affairs at the Financial Services Institute, a trade association representing independent broker-dealers and their affiliated financial advisors.

Politics: I’m a conservative member of the Republican Party.
Books: I read non-fiction almost exclusively. History and biographies are my reading passions.
Music: I’m a fan of quality music of all genres, but alternative rock and classic jazz are my favorites. I use AllMusic as my primary information source for finding new music.
Sports: I’m a fan of Boston professional sports teams including the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Patriots. I also follow Providence College and University of Tennessee basketball teams, the UT Football team, the Providence College and University of Denver hockey teams and Manchester United Football Club. I also play fantasy sports, including baseball, football and soccer.
Gadgets: I’m an early adopter of new technologies. I’m currently enjoying my Amazon Kindle. You can also frequently find me playing with my Xbox 360 under the Gamertag De La Dave.
